General Information

BQFsnapshot will help you discover the real power already at your finger tips, encourage you to probe for information and then to compare views and opinions with your colleagues to turn your combined knowledge into an action plan for effective improvement. BQFsnapshot is most effective when used by a group to agree the organisation's profile against the Excellence Model. The Balanced Scorecard feature is used to focus attention on the issues of critical importance to your organisation.

Following a recent upgrade BQFsnapshot's features now include:

• A framework to self evaluate against the 2003 Excellence Model
• Cross referencing to the Excellence Model to give a indicative points score against the 32 criterion parts
• A Balanced Scorecard feature to define and monitor the performance of your Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• A framework to monitor and plan improvement by linking KPIs to the aspects of excellence that underpin performance

How to use BQFsnapshot

BQFsnapshot's benefits are maximised when used by groups such as directors, senior managers, line managers or a mix of employees cross-functionally. Evaluation should take place on an individual basis before meeting to reach a consensus. Debating differences and their reasons is often found to be the most valuable part of the process. In a very small organisation, BQFsnapshot may be used by the owner who can involve others, as appropriate.
